I designed a small data base application for a local Calgary
company. A friend worked there, and when discussing the need for some
computer automation instead of lots of hand calculations, he thought of
me. I started doing work for them in the evenings and weekends for some
extra cash. What started out as a small application soon started to grow.
Currently it is a full company management application which is being
marketed to other companies. Over time I acquired more clients and in 1997 I quit my day job
as an Electronics Technologist and became totally self employed.
